Learn to play or better your game

Oakwood Park Polo Club offer lessons and training programmes to any age and any ability, from complete beginners, even non-riders. We like to build a tailor made programme for each individual to suit your specific aims and budget.See below for what is on offer. If you can’t find what you’re looking for just ask.

Individual Lessons

Individual lessons are one-to-one tuition with head coach Francis Matthews. They are a fantastic opportunity to focus on particular technique issues and progress rapidly. They also provide a suitable environment for beginners to gain confidence and knowledge before progressing to group sessions and chukkas.

Price

Individual Polo Lessons are £60 for 1 hour sessions 
Included within this are all horse and equipment hire.

 

Vouchers

Individual Lesson Vouchers make a fantastic gift and can be redeemed at any date throughout the season. They are fine for complete beginners, even non-riders. To purchase a voucher please contact us.

Group Lessons

Group lessons run weekly throughout the seasons offering a range of levels. An enjoyable and social affair, these can also be arranged for group of friends, parties, corporate groups and pony club sessions by arrangement.

Price

Group Polo Lessons are £50pp (Maximum 6 in a group) for 1 hour sessions. Included within this are all horse and equipment hire.

Polo Experience Days

Polo Experience Days are the perfect solution for a unique and fantastic day, business or pleasure, for riders and non riders alike. Whether you are keen to try polo out for the first time or keen to improve your game, our instructors and horses will be matched accordingly making sure you get the most out of your experience. We can custom packages that are ideal for Corporate Days, Team Building, Birthday parties and Stag & Hen dos.

We can provide all the equipment you need.

 

Included within the day:

 

  • Welcome briefing with tea, coffee and biscuits
  • 1.5 hours of polo instruction
  • All horse and equipment hire
  • Stay on and watch a tournament (date depending)

All included for  £60 per person.
